The AVMESSI is a galvanically isolated 6 channels SSI (Serial Synchronous Interface) interface card for VME bus. Every SSI channel has an online diagnostics capability ( test results, hw or sw problems ) and it is fully configurable via dip switches for: code type (binary, BCD, gray), data length (13, 21, 24 and 25 bit), communication speed ( 1 Mbit/s, 500 kbit/s, 250 kbit/s, 125 kbit/s, 62 kbit/s ), parity bit ( none ); it has also a test mode functionality. It can refresh all 6 channels in less than 1 ms.
