The extension is also conforming to the NEC standards 500, 505 and 506, as well as CEC, ATEX, and IECEx. Further new and important features for the T-Series are the Ex-certifications for safety-relevant areas in the Russian and Japanese markets.


Apr 27 2017 MTS Sensors Offers Extended Warranty for LP-Series

April 27, 2017, Cary, N.C. - MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:MTSC), announces the introduction of multiyear extended warranties available on the new LP-Series of magnetostrictive liquid level transmitters. The extended warranty will be available in a 1 year, 2 year, or 3 year option in addition to the 2 year standard warranty. The extended warranty is being introduced on the LP-Series featuring Tank Slayer®, RefineME®, CHAMBERED and SoClean® models. The LP-Series targets hazardous area applications in the oil and gas, and chemical and mining industries, as well as sanitary applications in the pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries.

Cary, N.C. (June 28, 2016) - MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:MTSC), has expanded its E-Series of high accuracy position sensor devices with the introduction of the EP2. As with other members of the E-Series, the EP2 is a compact, smooth profile unit that is highly optimized for application scenarios where there is only limited space available for mounting. Based on the company’s proprietary Temposonics® magnetostrictive technology, this latest MTS sensor device has a stroke length of up to 2540mm. Jun 07 2016 MTS Adds NEC and CEC Approvals to Hazardous Area and Safety Area Sensor Offering

June 7, 2016, Cary, N.C. - MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:MTSC), announced today that the Temposonics® T-Series product line is now certified to NEC and CEC Standards 500, 505 and 506. NEC and CEC certifications are used in US and Canada to ensure that equipment meets specified standards for operating in potentially hazardous conditions. The T-Series linear positons sensors, which already carry the ATEX and IECEx approvals used by other countries, are now ATEX, IECEx, NEC and CEC hazardous area certified for use in Class I, II, III - Divisions 1, 2 - Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G as well as Zone 0/1, 21 and 22.


Jun 06 2016 M-Series Product End-Of-Life (EOL) Announcement

June 6, 2016, Cary, NC - MTS Sensors is initiating the EOL process for the M-Series effective June 6, 2016. The EOL of this product line is a result of the launch of the next generation LP-Series and obsolesce of some electronic components used in the M-Series models. The timeline for the EOL is based on the availability of electronic components used in the M-Series.
