April 13, 2016, Cary, N.C. - MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:MTSC), has further extended its recently announced LP-Series of liquid level transmitters by introducing the Level Plus® SoClean level transmitter. Based on the company’s proprietary Temposonics® magnetostrictive technology, these accurate and robust devices are targeted specifically at sanitary tank applications within the pharmaceutical and food/beverage industries - such as bottle filling, blending tanks, bioreactors, buffer mix tanks, etc. Their innovative 3-IN-1 measurement function allows product level, interface level and an average product temperature to all be simultaneously determined. They have a ±1mm inherent position accuracy and a ±0.1°C temperature accuracy.

April 6, 2016, Cary, N.C. - MTS Sensors, a division of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:MTSC), introduces the LP-Series - the next generation of its Level Plus® liquid level transmitter product line. This new offering includes Tank Slayer®, RefineME® and CHAMBERED models, based on MTS Sensors’ proprietary Temposonics® magnetostrictive sensing technology. The LP-Series targets hazardous area applications in the oil and gas, as well as chemical and mining industries, (including storage tanks, reactors, blending tanks, etc.). All models in this series feature an integral display and have Intrinsically Safe approval under NEC, CEC, ATEX, and IECEx.


MTS expands Temposonics® R-Series to include Profinet RT interface

MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division, has introduced the Temposonics® R-Series with Profinet IO Real Time (RT) interface. These highly accurate sensors are part of the company’s second product line, along with EtherNet/IP, for use with Ethernet interfaces in heavy manufacturing and other industrial applications. Currently, the sensors are available with either a 4.1 PNO (PROFIBUS User Organization) standardized profile or an MTS communication profile for multi-position measurement.
