Washing Machine Load Control

Vibration dampers for consumer products or light industrial applications are common. But damping vibration sometimes requires broad frequency and stroke control that strictly mechanical devices can’t control adequately enough. To broaden control and improve response, electronic adjustment of damping characteristics can be implemented.

The C-Series products are small enough and malleable enough to install in the tightest places. Uncontrolled dampers can now consider using feedback installed within those dampers to actively control damping rates, whether the damper is a solenoid controlled hydraulic or pneumatic unit or a magnetorheological fluid type. Their low cost makes magnetostrictive stroke measurement a consideration in washing machines for example.
